General information
Chalmers Studentbostäder offers all of our tenants an internet connection with a speed of 1000 Mbit/s through our fiber-optic network. You will receive an IP-address over DHCP, which usually stays the same as long as your router is powered on. In most apartments, you only need to plug a wire between your router and the outlet. If there are several outlets you might need to check them all since only one outlet is usually connected. There are additional instructions for some apartments in our outlets guide; if your building isn't listed then there probably is just a single outlet and no electrical cabinet.
However, there is an exception for tenants living at Kapellgången 1 or 6. You have to write a contract with Framtidens Bredband and report any problems to them, you can find more information below.

But if that doesn't help, you can log in to the portal (top right of this page) and submit a support request ticket. We speak Swedish and English, just write in whichever language you prefer.
